Christopher Krywulak - President and CEO

Christopher has been a leader in the wireless industry since 1990. As this industry grew, Christopher began to sense a need for retail management specific to cellular and wireless telecommunications. iQmetrix launched in 1999, and has since become the most comprehensive retail management system available for this industry.

Christopher's success has been rewarded by some of the most prestigious publications and organizations in North America, including Profit 100 and Ernst and Young. Listed below are some of the awards Christopher and his businesses have garnered:

  • Profit 100 Innovation in Technology Award
  • Canadian Information Productivity Award (CIPA)
  • Up and Coming top 25 IT companies in Canada (National Post)
  • Business Development Bank Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  • Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist 2001

Christopher is also very active in the business community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Regina Regional Economic Development Authority, as well as the Business Advisory Council for Western Economic Diversification. He was also recently named to the Saskatchewan Minister's Advisory Council on Information Technology. Christopher is currently based in our Vancouver office.

Christopher attributes many of his entrepreneurial skills to the tenets he learned in Taekwon-do, in which he competes internationally. In 2002 he earned a bronze medal at the World GTF Taekwon-do Championships. In 2004 he competed at the GTF World Championships in Russia, where as Captain of Team Canada he led the men's team to Canada's first gold medal in the Team Pattern Competition, beating Russia in the final.

 

Bill May - President, U.S. Operations

As President, U.S. Operations, Bill oversees the U.S. market with the primary responsibility of revenue growth. As a member of the executive team, he also guides the overall strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining iQmetrix Bill founded Work Software Systems, a successful retail management software company acquired by iQmetrix. Bill has extensive business leadership and management experience, including, management consulting for KPMG in New York, Director of Sales and Marketing for an Internet startup in Boston, and also as a sales and marketing manager with a large North American manufacturing company. Bill earned a BA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA in finance from Boston College.

 

Greg Krywulak - Senior Vice-President

Together with Christopher Krywulak, Greg founded iQmetrix in 1999. They have worked to grow iQmetrix into the most comprehensive retail management system for the retail and telecom industries.

As Senior Vice President of iQmetrix, Greg Krywulak is responsible for new business development - developing business verticals, sales leads and strategic business initiatives. Greg received his BFA from the University of Saskatchewan, where he graduated with Honors.

 

Kelly Kazakoff - Chief Operating Officer

Kelly has been with iQmetrix since its inception in 1999. Having served as President and CEO of a successful wireless retail operation for 10 years, Kelly's extensive knowledge of the industry complements his role as Chief Operating Officer at iQmetrix.

Kelly holds a degree in marketing from the University of Regina and brings years of marketing, sales and executive management experience to the iQmetrix team.

 

Ron Tweddle, C.A. - Chief Financial Officer

Ron is an accomplished financial executive with over 25 years of local and international business experience. Prior to accepting the position of CFO of iQmetrix, Ron held senior executive positions with Universal Gift-Mart corporation, Blast Radius, The Brick Group Income Fund and Best Buy Canada (Future Shop Ltd.). Ron has a proven track record of optimizing results and managing to the bottom line in a fast paced and ever changing environment. As one of three key executives at the Brick, he played a large role in the development of a strong leadership team which resulted in the company being awarded "One of the 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada" in 2002 and re-qualifying in 2003 and 2004.

Ron is an active member of his community and has held Board positions for Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and Trans Global Insurance Company. In his free time he enjoys living an active life and travelling.

 

Kerem Karatal - Chief Technology Officer

Kerem is a veteran software and technology manager that will lead the development of iQmetrix’ product offerings. Prior to joining iQmetrix, Kerem founded Coding Ventures, a software development business focused on iPhone applications. From 2007 to 2008 Kerem served as CTO for Symmetrics, where he prototyped a new Contact Center Performance Management server appliance and SAAS product. Prior to joining Symmetrics, Kerem spent 5 years at Microsoft, where he most recently led the ISV platform for the Windows Vista Shell and Desktop Search.

Before joining Microsoft, Kerem co-founded a Vancouver based software company called NCompass Labs Inc., which was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. Kerem joined Microsoft after the acquisition and shipped a Microsoft-branded version of their flagship product called Microsoft Content Management Server 2002. In the process of starting up NCompass Labs, he was also the brainchild behind the first ActiveX control enabled web browser, long before the term ActiveX was coined by Microsoft. 

A graduate of North Carolina State University, Kerem holds a masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

 

Scott McGillivray - Vice-President, Marketing

With 18 years experience in sales, marketing communications and demand generation, Scott McGillivray is the executive responsible for marketing and competitive intelligence at iQmetrix. Before joining iQmetrix, Scott served as a lecturer at the University of Regina in the Faculty of Business Administration. During his time at the University of Regina, Scott published numerous research papers and spoke at conferences related to strategy and marketing. Prior to that, he worked at ISC as Assistant Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development where he was responsible for the marketing strategy of the company. He has also held various sales and marketing positions at Royal Bank of Canada, SaskTel, Pattison Group, and Westfair Foods.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Administration degree majoring in marketing and a Masters of Business Administration degree with a focus on strategy from the University of Regina.

 

Rory Cain - Vice-President, Product Development

Rory has an extensive background in the IT industry that includes application development, technical support, network and infrastructure design, and project management. Rory worked as a Senior Technology Analyst and Project Manager in the public sector for twenty years prior to joining iQmetrix in April of 2005. While managing large infrastructure projects and directing a team of IT support professionals at Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Rory started his own software development company, Rave Software Inc., in 1998. Rave Software specialized in developing medical clinic management software. Rave Software sold the rights to their clinic management software to iQmetrix in 2005 and Rory joined iQmetrix as part of the transaction.

Rory is responsible for many facets of the technology division of iQmetrix, which includes software development and technology infrastructure, while also providing technology consulting to other groups within the company. He enjoys being an integral part of the strategic decision-making process at iQmetrix, while keeping abreast of new developments in the fast paced world of technology.

 

Eric Stachowski - Vice-President, U.S. Operations

Eric entered the wireless industry several years ago as the co-founder of WorkWireless LLC and served in operational, finance and client consulting roles over the years. He managed the company's growth from startup to over 400 customers and 3500 installed sites nationwide before the company was acquired by iQmetrix in 2008.  Currently serving as Vice-President, U.S. Operations for iQmetrix, Eric is primarily responsible for the successful transition of  WorkWireless customers to the iQmetrix software platform, as well as integrating the product functionality of both software solutions to provide a single, best-in-class solution to all customers.

Eric holds a BA in Economics and a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) professional designation, and prior to entering the wireless industry was the controller of a nationwide equipment leasing company.
