iQmetrix Welcomes Kerem Karatal as Chief Technology Officer
iQmetrix, a leading provider of retail management solutions for the wireless industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerem Karatal as Chief Technology Officer of iQmetrix.
Kerem, a veteran software and technology manager, will lead the development of iQmetrix’ product offerings, continuing to evolve and enhance their primary product, RQ4, the market leading retail management solution for wireless dealers. Development under Kerem’s leadership will maintain a focus on providing the most innovative and user friendly solutions for wireless retailers, creating superior experiences for both users and end consumers.
“Kerem’s depth of experience and extensive technical skills will bring tremendous value to our organization,” said Christopher Krywulak, CEO of iQmetrix. “iQmetrix has experienced high growth in the last few years and Kerem will play a key role as we continue to aggressively expand in the wireless industry.”
Prior to joining iQmetrix, Kerem founded Coding Ventures, a software development business focused on iPhone applications. From 2007 to 2008 Kerem served as CTO for Symmetrics, where he prototyped a new Contact Center Performance Management server appliance and SAAS product. Prior to joining Symmetrics, Kerem spent 5 years at Microsoft, where he most recently led the ISV platform for the Windows Vista Shell and Desktop Search.
Before joining Microsoft, Kerem co-founded a Vancouver based software company called NCompass Labs Inc., which was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. Kerem joined Microsoft after the acquisition and shipped a Microsoft-branded version of their flagship product called Microsoft Content Management Server 2002. In the process of starting up NCompass Labs, he was also the brainchild behind the first ActiveX control enabled web browser, long before the term ActiveX was coined by Microsoft. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Kerem holds a masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
"I am excited be part of the dynamic team at iQmetrix,” says Kerem. “iQmetrix is considered the thought leader in the wireless retail community and I look forward to growing the product line and continuing to provide innovative applications that exceed the expectations of iQmetrix’ clients and partners.”
RQ4 is a comprehensive, integrated and on-demand retail management system.
