SummitX 2024: Advanced Automation Set to Transform Telecom Retail Reconciliation

Payment reconciliation between telecom carriers and authorized retailers has long been one of the industry’s key pain points.

Reconciliation is a challenging and onerous process, rife with human error and cumbersome inputs — but today’s advanced technology can ease those problems.

At the 2024 iQmetrix Telecom Industry Address presented at SummitX in Arizona recently, Jason Raymer, Senior Vice President of Revenue and Client Experience at iQmetrix, explained how advanced automation is revolutionizing the reconciliation process.

Reconciliation gets harder and harder, based on commission structures and everything else we have to get paid for,” Raymer said. This problem is across every carrier, it’s across the prepaid channel, postpaid… it’s a real issue in the market right now. We just don’t know what we’re not getting paid for.”

Raymer took the audience through how new technologies, such as iQmetrix’s soon-to-launch ReconcilePro, are easing the pain of reconciliation and improving efficiencies and security in the process.
