How Tbaytel Improved Efficiencies and Grew Revenues With iQmetrix Solutions

Tbaytel is the largest independently owned telecom carrier in Canada, and a leading provider of connectivity services in Northwestern Ontario.

This regional carrier operates two corporate retail stores, both of which use iQmetrix’s Point of Sale and Retail Management System, RQ, to boost sales and optimize operations.

In addition, five retail locations operated by Tbaytel authorized retailers — Teleco, Touch Unwired, and The Power Center — also run on iQmetrix’s POS and RMS solutions.

To maximize its retail operations, Tbaytel has also added Carrier Activation, Payments, Biometrics, Queue Management, and Dropship solutions — with a seamless integration from RQ’s POS into our partner vendor Hitfar, a Canadian distributor of high-quality wireless accessories.

Tbaytel said that Carrier Activation has reduced the duplication of data entry by integrating with systems, cutting customer wait times, and increasing efficiency. This has translated into approximately 17 hours a month in time savings for sales associates at its authorized retail locations.

Dropship has enabled them to carry less inventory but still give the customer a choice of all products available. Since the launch of iQmetrix’s POS in 2018, the Thunder Bay corporate store has seen a growth in accessory sales every year.

Tbaytel said, Over and above all the great functions and features, the iQmetrix team has been wonderful to work with, from initial launch to Carrier Integration.”

Our iQmetrix solution has allowed Tbaytel to better serve our customers. We’ve shortened our sales process, avoiding unnecessary duplication of data entry. Our ability to triage using Queue Management has effectively changed the way we greet our customers, and has provided a great solution for a fast-paced environment.
