With New ‘Donations Module’ iQmetrix Helps Free The Children and Other Charities This Holiday Season
-- iQmetrix to Match Every Dollar Donated in the Month of December to Free The Children via its Retail Management System, RQ4 --
VANCOUVER, BC – Dec. 13, 2011 – iQmetrix, the leading provider of retail management software for the North American wireless industry, is pleased to announce a new Charitable Donations Module to its RQ4 retail management system for wireless resellers. The new feature allows retailers to collect donations at the point of sale for charities of their choosing.
This holiday season, iQmetrix has teamed up with Free The Children, the world’s largest network of children helping children through education. iQmetrix is matching every dollar raised through the RQ4 Donations Module in the month of December, in hopes of raising enough money to build a school in a developing community for Free The Children’s Adopt a Village Program.
A leading international charity and educational partner, Free The Children’s mission is to free children from poverty, exploitation and from the idea that they are powerless to change the world.
Free The Children has been pre-configured in the RQ4 Donations Module for easy setup, should RQ4 users choose to support its cause. Retailers can very easily adjust the module to accept donations for a different charity as well.
“We are proud to support Free The Children as well as worthy charities chosen by our clients this holiday season,” says iQmetrix president and CEO Christopher Krywulak. “We created this Donations Module to make it easy for retailers to accept small donations at the point of sale. Hopefully, with the help of retailers and donors, we can all work together to give something back and make a big impact for the causes involved.”
“We are thrilled to be working together with iQmetrix on this initiative,” says Marc Kielburger, co-founder of Free The Children. “The holiday season is an important time of the year, not only to connect with friends and family, but to give back to those less fortunate. The new RQ4 Donations Module allows thousands of retailers and donors from across North America to give a gift of education to youth in need living in developing communities.”
